Press the # key a number of times until the cursor points to Set-up. Press the * key a number of times to return the cursor to Charge. This scrolling allows you to select one of the above functions.
Using the scroll keys ( # or * ) you can select the function required. (if held down the key will auto repeat). Pressing the 0 key when the cursor is pointing at a function, will select that function or take you to another menu for the function selected.
Press key 0 when the cursor is pointing at >Charge, this will take you to the charge menu.

(1), (2), (3), (4), (5), and (6), indicate hot keys that can be used to start charge from main menu
Scroll to Peak Detect using the * or # scroll keys and press the "0" enter key. This will take you to menus where you can select battery type (Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd) scroll to the required type with the scroll keys and press"0". Then select the charge type (see below) using scroll keys, when the required type has been selected press key "0". You will then have to select whether to discharge the pack before charging, scroll to "yes" or "no" and press "0"
The display will show the parameters you have chosen to charge the pack. The unit indicates the charge current by bleeping, 4 bleeps indicates 4 or 4.5 amps 5 bleeps indicates 5 or 5.5 amps.

Note
As you go through the charge menu the settings are
stored in HOT keys to save you having to run through the menu
every time you wish to charge a pack.
From the Main Menu where the cursor is pointing to charge (>Charge) pressing and holding certain keys will start charge.
Holding down key 1 will start Peak charge using the settings you selected while going through the charge menu
Holding down key 2 will start Re-Peak charge using the settings you selected while going through the Re-Peak charge menu
Holding down key 3 will start Temperature charge using the settings you selected while going through the Temperature charge menu
Holding down key 4 will start Push charge using the settings you selected while going through Push charge menu
Holding down key 5 will start Part Charge
Holding down key 6 will start Pack test
If you wish to change something ( lets say you wish to
change from Linear to Profile charge in peak detect ) simply go through the
charge menu and
change from Linear to Profile. Run through the rest of the menu and start
charge. The new settings are now stored in Hot key 1
