Press and hold key 3 to start Temperature charge (only from Main Menu)

Note: no longer used to set Repeak Time ( as shown on front panel)

Press key 4 to select the VIEW MENU. Use the scroll keys to scroll through the menu (displayed on right-hand side of front panel) If the remote leads are connected then pressing 0 will show the values for all 6 individual cells, pressing 0 again will return you to the view menu.

While charging key 4 is used to toggle between the View Menu and the normal charge display.

Press and hold key 4 to start Push Charge (only from Main Menu)


Key 5 set charge current

Press key 5 to set the charge current. Use the scroll keys to increase or decrease in 500mA steps. Press key 0 when the display shows the required current.

During charge the current can be adjusted by pressing key "5" . However if the current is reduced the charger may switch off as reducing the current will produce a false peak situation.

Key 6 back light

Press key 6 to toggle the back-light on or off when the charger is not charging.

If the unit is charging pressing key 6 will indicate the charge profile you have selected.

ie. Peak 0.04 Ni-Mh Linear, if discharge before charge was selected it would also indicate the lockout capacity.

Lockout: when peak charging the fallback delta is ignored until the capacity is more than the lockout capacity. This can be set in the set-up menu. Default settings are 1500mA for Ni-Mh and 1000mA for Ni-Cd.

Press and hold key 6 to start Pack Test (only from Main Menu)

Press key 7 to escape to Main Menu

Press key 7 to abort charge/discharge.

Press key 8 to set number of cells to charge/discharge, scroll up or down using * # keys.

During charge pressing key 8 will allow you to change from Ni-Mh to Ni-Cd or visa versa should you have chosen the wrong type. This saves you having to abort charge and start again with the right settings. This will change delta fallback accordingly. Scroll to the required type and press 0.

The display will show the new settings. The unit returns to charge display after 2 seconds.

Press key 9 to set calculated discharge current and discharge cut-off.  
The cut-ff volts used when discharge before charge is selected is also set here (Cut-off B4 Charge)

During charge pressing key 9 will display the temperature of the 4 probes (should the temperature detect module be fitted) it also shows the cutoff temperature. The cut-off temperature can be changed using the scroll keys and pressing 0

Pressing key 0 will either ENTER a value, START a FUNCTION or DISPLAY all 6 cells on screen if in the view menu
