From the Main Menu scroll to DISCHARGE and press key 0, The display will show the cut-off level ("Cut-off 6.00volts") then display Time and Pack Volts. Data for the cells can be viewed as described on page 5 ie scroll down to Pack Volts and press 0 to display all 6 cells, press 0 again to return to View Menu

If the remote connections are fitted the pack will be discharged until each cell reaches the cell cut-off level or a cell is about to go negative.

With a cut-off of 6.00 volts all pack data is calculated when the pack reaches 6.00 volts and all the cell data is calculated when the cell reaches 1 volts. (cell cut-off level = Cut-off level/ number of cells)

With the remote leads connected during discharge the unit will indicate whether any cell has fallen to 0.50 volts i.e. about to go negative and will display the message Reversal Cell # ? Check end volts. If the other cells are above 1 volt then cell # needs to be replaced with a cell which has a discharge time similar to the other cells.

Cycle will perform a charge and discharge cycle on a pack of batteries and send the data collected to a printer or a computer. From the main menu step the cursor down to Cycle cells and press the 0 key

Pro-Trak will prompt the user to enter CYCLE parameters, i.e.

Peak or Temperature detect, scroll up or down then press 0 key.

Set Cycles, scroll up or down then press 0 key. If only 1 cycle is selected then Pro-Trak will step straight to 4 below Repeak Time

Cycle Time scroll up or down, press 0 ( time between cycles )

Set Delay before part discharge, scroll up or down press 0 to enter. ( rest period in charge routine)

Set Part Discharge, scroll up or down press 0 to enter ( pack is discharged for this time)

Set Delay before Repeak, scroll up or down press 0 to enter (rest period before repeak)

Set Re-peak Current, scroll up or down to select then press the 0 key.(current used to repeak pack)

Set Re-Peak Delta, scroll to the value required then press the 0 key (delta used for repeak of pack)

Set Delay Discharge, scroll to the value required then press the 0 key (delay before discharging pack)

Select M/Hydride or Ni-Cad

Select Charge Type

Select Discharge first YES or No

The charge display is then shown.
