The temperature module contains 4 temperature sensors
( the black devices labeled Probe 1, Probe 2, Probe 3, and Probe 4)

Display shows the safety delta used should the user forget to place pack on the temperature module
 

 

The pack sits on top of the module.
Display shows the temperature of all 4 probes, 
the programmed  temperature cut-off is displayed in the middle of the display
